A North East Ohioan, I'm entranced by the Rust Belt's gritty allure. The world is vast, however, and there are many horizons to chase.

Home is where the Rubber is

I grew up in the suburbs of Akron, Ohio. We're proud of our innovation, history and art. After obtaining my MA, I had an enriching experience working as an educator for the Akron Art Museum in charge of museum tours & the docent training program.

Bring me that Horizon

Life is experience and experience is travel. From New York to San Diego, Savannah to Toronto, Cleveland to New Orleans, the United States has offered unforgettable experience and thrill. While studying abroad in Florence, Italy I also explored England, Scotland, Ireland, Italy, France and Germany.

Columbus, OH, my new home, has provided numerous opportunities for education, growth and exploration. When not teaching art history, the surrounding area offers stunning art & architecture, along with vast parks, rivers, and trails for adventuring.

Since relocating to Columbus, Ohio in 2016 I have worked in library youth services and as a production assistant at an interactive exhibition production firm.

Currently, I am an adult services librarian at Bexley Public Library and an art history instructor at the Columbus College of Art and Design.

Research and writing are my lifeblood and I believe cultural institutions like museums and libraries fostering creative thinking and open mindedness are crucial to our global society. Obtaining both an MA in Art History and an MLIS, combined with my professional museum and teaching experience, immersed me in the vast history of art as well as museum users, experience, and collection preservation.
